Situated about 90 minutes drive south east of London, Westgate-on-Sea is a Victorian seaside resort which grew up as a genteel suburb of the popular Georgian resort of Margate. With its north-facing coast line it enjoys spectacular sunsets and, at the same time, bracing breezes!
St. Peter's is situated on the main Canterbury to Margate road, and is adjacent to the only set of urban traffic lights along the road in Westgate. The highway is dual carriageway, there is a turning point just before the lights giving access to the church.
